Wildly Inappropriate Those Devilish ebook

I loved the story of Daniel and Cynda, found it to be a beautifully written account of an interracial couple in the deep South, thrown together through circumstance, and their journey together toward a lasting love, which neither expected, but both wanted desperately, Daniel most of all, I think. This is the second in the series, and I loved it as much, if not more than the first. I will read the entire series, I was hooked from the beginning on the Devilish DeMarco Men, strong, willful brothers, all with a depth and character not immediately apparent. For those who didn't "get" this family from reading this book in part or in full, I would suggest starting at the beginning with Colton's story, though I would agree each can stand alone, I also feel that reading them in order gives one an insight into the family as a whole, not gained here.
There is strong sexual content, that is the genre, after all, BUT let me say that IMHO that it is such a small part of what this book is about, that it plays no part whatsoever in my opinion of the story. The fact that there IS a family and that there IS a beautiful, and very moving story behind it makes it unique in itself.
Cynda is FAR more than she appears from reading the first few chapters, her character was written with such strength, she made me laugh, made my heart ache, and made me love her....I find Ms Connor to be an extremely talented writer, who makes you fall in love with a family of mixed up, tormented brothers, and the strong, loving, and unforgettable women that find, and choose to keep them. She writes with insight, sensitivity, and a caring for this fictional family that is lacking in so many books of this genre. I strongly recommend not just Wildly Inappropriate, but the entire series, I can hardly wait for the next one!!!

  1. Cynda Avery stood in Daniel De Marco's yard with a chain around her neck tethered to the back of his truck. Half dressed and wishing she was any place but here, Cynda knew that she had to go through with this plan in order to save her grandmothers ' home. What she didn't expect to see was the gorgeous completely naked Daniel De Marco step out on his porch stroking himself.

Daniel De Marco didn't like the fact that someone else was sent to him to try to convince him to sell off some of his land. He did however find the woman chained to his truck intriguing and she also had a nice ass. Instead of unchaining her and sending her on her way, Daniel decided to play along but by his rules.

Wildly Inappropriate is a excellent book with lots of hot sex, and interesting toys. Daniel expressed his Dom tendencies and Cynda submitted to each and every one of them. The two of them sizzled and heated up the pages, I could almost see the smoke billowing up from them. The story wasn't just about sizzling sex, there was also the mystery of what happened to Daniel's mom, and also why Cynda was chained to Daniel's truck. The supporting characters like Daniel's brothers Colton and Eric, along with Colton's girlfriend Lila and his nephew Jonah added depth to the story. Even the villain Kingsley Dazza who was trying to take Cynda's grandmothers home was very well developed.

I loved how the story was about Cynda and Daniel but had back stories going as well. The lives of his brothers and nephew and the things they faced did not detract from Cynda and Daniel. Everything blended so well together and this reader enjoyed Wildly Inappropriate because of all the different elements to the story. I whole heartedly recommend Wildly Inappropriate, it's BDSM content is light but tasteful and it's just a really good read. See for yourself, pick up a of copy of Wildly Inappropriate, settle back in your favorite chair and enjoy.

  2. I read the bad review a few weeks ago and chose not to buy..Yesterday I read all the reviews...then I reread the bad review and bought the book because I was intrigued and I liked the story line. I hate having to qualify my review but I am a Black women raised and living in the south. I was not offended by the stereotypes in the book because I see them daily where I live, even in the fortune 500 company where I work...It's the reality of the South. The stereotypes were comical because there was a shock value that was over the top in this book...but I learned to love the characters all of them and the author did a fantastic job of explaining what made them tick.
I don't normally read or get into BDSM but I love my alpha males...my friend explained the culture and once you understand the dom/sub power/trust relationship this book is not offensive to women or black women... it's a culture thing. This story had me hooked, fascinated, enthralled.. I read it in 7 hours because I literally couldn't put it down. The wooden beads issue...Really the author explains his quirky desire for corn-rows..and if I had a fine ass Caveman like Daniel who wanted me to sport an afro...I would be a Foxy Brown afro wearing sista getting hooked up on the regular. I might hide the silverware--just the forks.
This book has it all a serious love story, a heroine who is srong enough to submit and trust and a Alpha Dom who is seriously flawed but endearingly so...I reread the book for all the good parts.
The constant ass worship from Daniel and his brothers...well the author got it right. Men in general or black men amongst themselves talk just like that..Ms Conner kept it real for the most part. I mean women talk about men with large thick appendages that we worship it's no difference. There's a love story that's heart warming, a mystery, great side characters and kinky arousing sex...LOVED IT. Please write another IR because this one was well done!! Those who were offended don't understand the culture of BDSM...it's not for the faint hearted. Ms Conner made me a believer. So give this book a try. Worth every penny!

  8. I loved it (the title is what attracted me)! I really identified with some of the characters (Cynda), you really brought home a lot of issues of the blackwoman in America. It was also erotic and funny. I can't wait to see what happens to Eric. I will have to read Soft Sounds of Pleasure. Really, this book was really well written.
